About Me
I'm a reporter, writer and Web geek who covers politics, technology, urban policy, and, occasionally, burning squirrels. I currently work for Personal Democracy Forum, the folks behind techPresident. I've also written for The Riverdale Press, City Limits, The Jersey Journal and Digital Media Buzz.
Follow me on Twitter at @nclarkjudd.
I've won a small handful of awards during my career so far. Most recently, I and the staff at The Riverdale Press won first place for breaking news in the Suburban Newspapers of America's contest for 2009. I led our coverage of an alleged plot to blow up two Bronx synagogues, which the FBI says it followed for over a year, then foiled in our readers' backyard.
As of January 2010, I am a member of the executive board of the Deadline Club, New York's chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Obviously, this is my homepage, not theirs. Look for the Deadline Club's take on things at their site and on Twitter via @deadlineclub.
New York University is my alma mater. I graduated in 2007, magna cum laude, with a bachelor's in metropolitan studies and journalism.
I live in Brooklyn.
